We exclusively breed purebred, TICA-registered Siberian cats — a natural breed known for their hypoallergenic coats, dog-like loyalty, and gentle, intelligent temperament. Siberians are one of the few cat breeds that produce lower levels of the Fel d 1 allergen, making them a wonderful choice for families with mild to moderate cat allergies.
At Winterfell Cats, we focus on preserving the breed’s exceptional health, strong bone structure, and luxurious triple coat. We’re also proud to raise rare and striking color variations, including black smoke, silver, golden, and bimetallic Siberians — all from championship bloodlines.

Our cattery name, Winterfell Cats, was inspired by the majestic beauty and strength of Siberian cats, whose thick coats and regal presence evoke images of the North. The name “Winterfell” — a nod to the northern kingdom in Game of Thrones — reflects both the breed’s Russian heritage and their ability to thrive in cold climates with grace and resilience.
Just like the noble houses of Winterfell, our kittens are raised with love, loyalty, and courage — traits that make Siberians such extraordinary companions. It’s a name that captures the heart of who we are: elegant, enduring, and proudly Siberian.
- 04
Absolutely not. Winterfell Cats is a TICA-registered, ethical Siberian cattery committed to the highest standards of health, care, and transparency. Our kittens are raised in a loving home environment and stay with us until they are at least 12 weeks old, fully vaccinated, and thoroughly vet-checked before going to their new families.
Unlike backyard breeders who sell unregistered kittens too early with minimal health oversight, we carefully plan each litter from championship bloodlines, focusing on health, temperament, and rare hypoallergenic coat colors. To protect our kittens, we don’t allow home visits—but families receive hundreds of photos and videos in shared folders so they can watch their kittens grow up safely.
At Winterfell Cats, our priority is raising happy, healthy Siberians—not cutting corners.
- 05
Our breeding program is built on meticulous selection, genetic testing, and regular veterinary care, all geared toward the welfare of our cats and kittens. In addition, we provide our cats with high-quality pet food, meat (fish, poultry, and beef), and vitamin supplements (DHA, B, Taurine, Lysine, probiotics, and multi-vitamins). To ensure we meet breed standards, we showcase our cats at TICA cat shows for confirmation and selectively choose breeding parents from international championship bloodlines abroad.
- 06
At Winterfell Cats, our top priority is the health and safety of our kittens. While we understand the desire to meet kittens in person, home visits put young, unvaccinated kittens at significant risk of illness and parasites. In the past, a visitor unknowingly brought fleas into our home, and another breeder we know had an outbreak of ringworm from a visitor’s pet exposure. These types of issues can cause serious health problems for kittens and cost thousands of dollars to treat.
Because kittens don’t complete their vaccines until 12–14 weeks of age, limiting visitors helps protect their developing immune systems. Instead of in-person visits, we offer live video calls so families can meet the kittens virtually and see their personalities in real time. Once a kitten is reserved, families are added to our private photo and video folders, where they can watch their kitten grow up safely — we typically share hundreds of pictures and videos throughout the process.
This approach keeps our kittens safe, healthy, and well-socialized — ensuring you receive a happy, thriving companion.

We can connect you to reliable courier services that specialize in the safe hand-delivery of kittens to your nearest airport. Alternatively, if you prefer to use a courier of your choice, we are open to accommodating your preference. In this case, we will conduct an interview to ensure the safety and well-being of the kitten during transit.

Our adoption process begins with a short phone or email interview. Once you've placed a deposit to join our waitlist, we'll get in touch when it's your turn. At that point, you can select your desired kitten after it reaches 6 weeks of age, secure your choice with a reservation deposit, complete the adoption contract, and, finally, schedule a convenient time to bring your new feline family member home.
- 09
Our availability changes frequently as families on our waitlist are given first choice of kittens before they’re listed publicly. If you’re interested in adopting, the best way to stay updated is to join our waitlist — this ensures you’ll be notified as soon as new litters are born or kittens become available.
When kittens are ready for reservation, we share their photos, videos, and detailed descriptions on our Available Kittens page. We also post regular updates and growth photos for each litter, so you can watch them develop from birth to adoption age (12–14 weeks).
To inquire about current or upcoming litters, please fill out our kitten application — we’ll be happy to match you with the perfect Siberian for your family.

We maintain a waitlist to offer families the opportunity to carefully choose the perfect kitten for their household, without feeling pressured to make a quick decision. During the first few months of their lives, kittens' colors can change significantly. As a result, we don't permit kitten selection until they reach a minimum age of 6 weeks. This waiting period ensures that our customers are content with their choices.
- 11
To reserve a kitten, please visit our "Adoption" page and request to be added to the waitlist. We recommend reaching out early, as our kittens tend to find loving homes quickly.
- 12
The adoption fee varies depending on the kitten and its specific qualities. The fee covers vaccinations, and vet check. Please contact us for detailed pricing information.

We name our kittens in alphabetical order, following World Cat Federation (WCF) rules. Each litter is assigned a letter, and all kittens from that litter receive names beginning with the same letter — for example, “V Litter” Vhagar, and Vaemond. includes kittens like Viserys, Vhagar, and Vaemond.
This naming system not only keeps our records organized but also helps families and followers on our Winterfell Cats Facebook group easily identify siblings from the same litter.
Our kitten names are inspired by characters, places, and dragons from A Song of Ice and Fire — a fun tradition that reflects the Winterfell theme. Once we reach the end of the alphabet with “Z,” the next litter begins again with “A.”

Yes! You’re welcome to give your kitten a new name once they join your family. However, to keep your health guarantee valid, your kitten’s birth name must remain included on all veterinary records. This ensures accurate identification and maintains the integrity of their pedigree documentation.
For example, if your kitten’s birth name is Aegon and you rename him Fluffy, his vet records should list him as: Fluffy – Aegon
We follow this same practice for our breeding cats. For instance, one of our queens has the pedigree name XTRA but is lovingly called Duchess — her veterinary records read XTRA – Duchess. This is not a joke to make you laugh this is True :)
This approach keeps all health and pedigree records consistent while allowing you to choose the perfect everyday name for your new companion.

We use SpaySecure contracts to ensure the health, safety, and responsible care of every kitten we place. SpaySecure provides a legally binding, secure, and transparent spay/neuter agreement that protects both the buyer and the breeder.
This system verifies that kittens are spayed or neutered at the appropriate age, which helps prevent accidental litters, reduces health risks, and upholds the integrity of the Siberian breed. It also ensures we can maintain our TICA ethical breeding standards and continue to place kittens in loving, responsible homes.
SpaySecure manages all documentation digitally, giving families a simple, private, and stress-free process that guarantees compliance while keeping personal information safe.
