Below is a guide to help you better understand the colors and patterns of our cherished kittens.

Base Fur Coat Colors

Each Siberian kitten is born with a solid foundation color. These rich tones develop over time and create a dramatic canvas for the various patterns Siberians are known for.

Black (Brown/Black Classic)Deep, rich black — often appearing as a dramatic dark tabby or solid tone
Blue
A soft, diluted version of black. This slate-gray tone gives Siberians an elegant, ethereal appearance.
Red
Vibrant copper to fiery ginger tones. Red Siberians can vary in brightness and often have classic tabby markings.
Cream
A gentle, diluted version of red — creamy, peach-like tones that bring a warm, soft glow to the coat.
Golden / Extreme Sunshine (Corin Lineage)
A rare and radiant gold hue with rich, warm undertones. Our Corin lineage produces exceptionally vibrant golden coats that shimmer in natural light.
Golden Sunshine (Corin Lineage)
A slightly lighter golden tone than Extreme Sunshine — still warm and glowing but with softer contrasts.
White
Pure, snowy white Siberians often have contrasting eye colors like blue or green.

🌈 Color Patterns

Siberian coats are known not just for their colors but also for the dazzling patterns they carry. These patterns overlay the base color, creating breathtaking combinations.

Silver

Silver is a dominant inhibitor gene (I) that suppresses the expression of pigment at the base of the hair shaft, resulting in a striking silver or white undercoat while leaving the pigmented tip intact. This effect is most visible when the cat moves, creating a shimmering or frosted appearance, especially on darker base colors like black or blue. In Siberians, silver can appear in a variety of Tabby coat patterns.

Smoke

A dramatic blend where the tips of the fur are dark, but the undercoat is white. This creates a ghost-like, smoky appearance — especially visible in motion.

Smoke is a coat coloration caused by the presence of solid pigment combined with the dominant inhibitor gene (I) — the same gene responsible for silver — but expressed over a solid (non-tabby) base color. In a Smoke coat, the hair shaft is pigmented only at the tips, while the lower portion remains a bright, silvery white. The result is a cat that appears solid in color (e.g., black, blue, red) at first glance, but reveals a striking silver-white undercoat when the fur is parted or the cat moves.

Bimetallic (Corin + Silver)

One of the rarest and most breathtaking combinations. This pattern combines golden (Corin) and silver genes, creating a brilliant contrast of warmth and cool shimmer in one coat.

Blue is a dilution of Black many call it "Gray"

Golden / Sunshine color

Golden is a breed specific color that is a form of black notice the tip of the tip of the tail and the paw bottoms are black

White

This cat is pure white and can have blue or green eyes

Seal Lynx

Colorpoint with stripes on face, tail and legs. Body tips will have light color. Can be black Seal, blue, red, etc.

Black Smoke

Solid Black cat with white undercoat and white Maine as they mature born black

This is our Championship Sire that has spots on his sides, stripes on his face and tail. The black is only on the tips of the fur (Silver) with white at the base of his coat
