Kitten & Queen Waitlist
These lists reflect families who have completed an application, participated in a phone interview with the Winterfell owner, and placed a waitlist deposit following approval.
Being on the waitlist gives you the opportunity to reserve a kitten once kittens reach approximately 5-7 weeks of age. Waitlist families receive access to a shared folder where they can follow each kitten’s development for several weeks prior to selection. This allows families to make informed, thoughtful decisions when it is their turn to choose.

How Selection Works
-
Selection begins at the top of the waitlist for each litter.
-
When it is your turn, you will be notified and given 48 hours to select and reserve your kitten.
-
If a selection is not made within that timeframe, the opportunity will pass to the next family on the list.
-
Upcoming selection order will be posted here in advance, and you will also be contacted directly.
Queen Adoption Priority
Families adopting a Queen receive first priority for kitten selection to ensure Queens go home with a companion kitten. Specialty kittens are excluded from this priority.

** Exceptions: In rare cases with extenuating circumstances if a family needs to return to the waitlist after reserving a kitten, Winterfellcats reserves the right to reinstate them based on their deposit date. Kittens can be held back to be evaluated as breeders. If Winterfell determines 2 kittens are bonded then they can be offered to go home together even if only one kitten deposit was collected.
